I am writing this as I travel back in the 9:29 Mumbai local from Churchgate. Something happened that made me think right now. There was this boy – I am guessing about 7 or 8 years old maybe. I learned never to judge a book by its cover when I was young. But every time I see a glossy magazine or an interestingly packaged item, I will always be drawn towards it. So although I do understand the wisdom behind this quote I find myself giving a rather unconscious response to anything that is different or beautiful in its appearance.

I watched Ghajini a few days ago and quite frankly the movie did not leave me impressed at all. Thanks to the company of a wonderful woman I was able to enjoy the movie a lot more than I would have, because she too did not like the movie at all and we were busy laughing and critiquing the various parts of the movie we found funny – much to the annoyance of the people around us but we just could not control our laughter at many points.
